The normal class load for a student is 8 credit hours per semester, and a minimum class load is four credit hours per semester.
*15 hours of teaching normally equals 1 credit hour, 35 hours of practical work is equal to 1 credit hour.

TRANSFER CREDITS AND EXEMPTIONS

Requests for the transfer of credit(s) will be considered by the Principal and such credits may either have been earned at MTI, CPTC or from another academic or technical institution.  Transfer credits and exemptions are assessed on the basis of equivalent credit loads or subject content for a particular course.
